Child Profile Information: To personalize recipes and recommendations, we collect information about your child that you voluntarily provide, including:

- Known food allergies and intolerances (e.g., dairy, nuts, eggs, gluten)
- Dietary preferences and restrictions (e.g., pork-free, halal, vegetarian, vegan)

- Any other health-related information you choose to provide
Nutrition Tracker Data: Meal logs, food entries, portion sizes, and nutritional intake data you input into the Nutrition Tracker feature.
AI Chat Data: Questions you ask, messages you send, and the conversation history within the AI Chat feature.
User-Generated Content: Recipes, photos, comments, reviews, and other content you submit through the App.
Communications: Information you provide when you contact our support team, respond to surveys, or participate in promotions.
Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We receive subscription status, transaction identifiers, and billing period information. We do not collect or store your credit card number, bank account details, or other direct payment credentials.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, device language, and mobile network information.
- Usage Data: Features used, pages visited, actions taken, time and duration of sessions, crash logs, and performance data.
- Log Data: IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and timestamps.
- Location Data: Approximate location based on IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly grant permission for location-based features.

- Platform Providers: If you sign in using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or other third-party authentication, we receive your name, email address, and profile identifier as authorized by you through that provider's permissions.
- Analytics Providers: We may receive aggregated and anonymized analytics data from third-party analytics services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Providing and Personalizing the Services:
- Generating personalized recipes based on your child's allergies, dietary restrictions, and nutritional goals.
- Operating the AI Chat feature and providing relevant responses to your questions.
- Tracking nutritional intake through the Nutrition Tracker.
- Displaying relevant articles and educational content.
- Enabling you to create, share, and browse user-generated recipes.
Account Management:
- Creating and managing your account.
- Processing subscriptions and communicating about billing.
- Authenticating your identity and securing your account.
Communication:
- Sending service-related notifications (e.g., account verification, subscription reminders, feature updates).
- With your consent, sending promotional communications, tips, and recommendations. You may opt out at any time.

- Analyzing usage patterns to improve the App, features, and user experience.
- Training and improving our AI models using aggregated and anonymized data. We do not use your personally identifiable information or your child's personally identifiable information to train AI models without your explicit consent.
- Conducting research and analytics to understand user needs.

- Detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, abuse, security risks, and technical issues.

3. Children's Data — Special Protections
Feedy takes the privacy of children's data extremely seriously.
- Feedy does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All child-related data is provided by the parent or legal guardian through their own account.
- We collect only the minimum child data necessary to provide the core functionality of the App (personalized recipes, allergy filtering, nutrition tracking).
- We do not sell children's data to third parties.
- We do not use children's data for targeted advertising.
- We do not share children's personally identifiable data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Child data is stored separately and subject to enhanced security measures.
- Parents and legal guardians may at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data by contacting us (see Section 12).
We comply with applicable children's data protection laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provisions relating to children's data, and other applicable legislation.
4. AI Chat and AI-Generated Content — Data Practices
The AI Chat feature processes your questions and generates responses using artificial intelligence. You should be aware that:
- Your AI Chat messages are processed to generate responses and may be stored as part of your conversation history.
- We may use anonymized and aggregated AI Chat data to improve the quality and safety of AI responses. Personally identifiable information is removed before any such use.
- AI Chat conversations may be reviewed by our team in limited circumstances for safety, quality assurance, and to detect harmful or inappropriate content.
- We do not share your individual AI Chat conversations with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
- You may request deletion of your AI Chat history at any time (see Section 10).
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Services, including cloud hosting, analytics, customer support, email delivery, and payment processing. These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only for the purposes we specify and to maintain appropriate security measures.

With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties when you have given us your explicit consent to do so.
Aggregated and Anonymized Data: We may share aggregated, de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you or your child with partners, researchers, or the public for analytical or informational purposes.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our Website and App may use the following technologies:

7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Specifically:
- Account and Profile Data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted or anonymized within 90 days of account deletion, unless retention is required by law.
- Child Profile Data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted promptly upon account deletion or upon your request.
- Nutrition Tracker Data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion or upon your request.
- AI Chat History: Retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time. Upon account deletion, chat history is deleted within 90 days.
- User-Generated Content: Publicly shared recipes and content may remain on the platform after account deletion in anonymized form, unless you request their removal.
- Anonymized and Aggregated Data: May be retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify you.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
- Secure access controls and authentication.
- Regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Access to personal data limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
- Separate storage and enhanced protection for children's data.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
